Tips about caring for your wax melt
1.Store your wax melts properly: Keep your wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If the melts are exposed to heat or sunlight, they can melt or become discolored.
2. Use a wax warmer: Always use a wax warmer designed specifically for wax melts. Avoid using a traditional oil burner, as the higher temperature can cause the wax to burn too quickly and produce an unpleasant smell.
3. Clean your wax warmer regularly: Once the wax has melted, allow it to cool and harden before removing it from the wax warmer. You can use a cotton ball or paper towel to wipe out any remaining wax. Be sure to unplug the warmer and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
4. Use the right amount of wax: Don't overfill your wax warmer with wax melts, as this can cause the wax to spill over the sides and create a mess. Use only the recommended amount of wax for your specific wax warmer.
5. Change your wax regularly: Once the scent has faded, it's time to change your wax. You can also change the wax if you want to switch to a different scent.
6. Don't add water to the wax: Adding water to the wax melts can cause them to become too hot and start to bubble, which can be dangerous. Stick to using the recommended amount of wax in your warmer.
By following these tips, you can enjoy your wax melts safely and prolong their lifespan while enjoying the beautiful scents they offer.
